Search Republic www.searchrepublic.co.nz is a market leading e-commerce consultancy specialising in Paid Search, SEO, and Google Analytics. We offer high quality digital marketing services to our clients that deliver results – leads, sales and revenue. We’re looking for a new digital marketing assistant to join our team. You won’t be working for any old agency… Search Republic is part of the Online Republic group which is a global travel company with bookings of over $300m and 200+ staff and offices in NZ, AU, and China. We specialise in digital marketing and spend over $13m of our own money every year on paid traffic.

What will you do?

Your first role will be to learn, learn and learn some more. Search Marketing is one of the fastest growing business areas in the world. We are looking for someone who is super sharp, a fast learner, can look at data, create spreadsheets and charts and understand them. Plus have the ability to write reports to clients and undertake research for clients in the areas of Paid Search in English.

Once skilled in the art of Search Marketing your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop digital strategies and optimise Adwords campaigns
  • Assist in social campaigns
  • Analyse and report on campaign insights
  • Develop, manage and improve internal processes

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent in written communication – English
  • Strong analytical skills, know your way around a spreadsheet and enjoy working with numbers
  • Organised and proactive. You can work autonomously with little supervision and can be trusted to exceed in the tasks assigned to you
  • Team player, add to an already great team culture
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and lively organisation
  • A bonus is Google Adwords qualified but not required
  • You’re humble, smart, likable, enthusiastic and fun! Don’t bother if you have an ego
